GeoKepo Editorial
Corrections and Clarifications
We want errors to be easy to report and significant fixes to remain visible. This process applies to GeoKepo place profiles, destinations, guides, articles, and structured data.
Policy effective: August 20, 2026
How to report an error
- Include the exact page URL.
- Quote the fact or passage that needs correction.
- Explain the proposed correction.
- Attach a primary-source link or other checkable evidence.
What happens after a report arrives
- The team confirms that the report refers to the correct entity and language version.
- Evidence is compared with the current source and, when needed, an additional official source.
- A factual error is fixed in the source data or template so the change addresses the cause, not only the visible symptom.
- Material changes are logged with the date, page, summary, and reason. Minor spelling fixes may not enter the public log.
Fast-changing and safety information
Opening hours, prices, access, weather, and local rules can change without notice. For travel or safety decisions, confirm details with the operator or relevant authority.
