One of the most iconic spots is "Nest," an underwater art installation consisting of 48 life-sized human statues arranged in a circle. To get the optimal experience, the best time to visit Gili Meno is during the dry season, between May and October. During this period, underwater visibility reaches its peak, sometimes up to 30 meters, which is ideal for snorkeling and underwater photography.

However, the rainy season (November - April) offers a different nuance. The island becomes very green and lush, and the lower number of tourists provides maximum privacy. Nevertheless, visitors should be aware of potentially higher sea wave conditions when crossing from mainland Lombok.

Accessibility and Supporting Facilities

Access to Gili Meno can be reached via Bangsal Port in North Lombok using a public boat (traditional wooden boat) which takes about 25-30 minutes. Additionally, speedboat services are available from Teluk Nare Port or directly from Bali (Padang Bai/Serangan) serving routes to the Three Gili.

Despite its hidden island concept, the facilities in Gili Meno are quite adequate yet still integrated with nature. Various accommodation options are available, ranging from luxurious eco-resorts using bamboo materials and solar energy, to eco-friendly homestays managed by local residents. Beachfront restaurants generally serve fresh seafood with sustainable traditional catch methods.
