During this period, the river's water discharge tends to be stable and its clarity reaches its peak. The water color will appear bluish-green, contrasting with the gray rocks.

Conversely, during the rainy season (October to January), visitors are advised to be more cautious. High rainfall in the upstream of Pegunungan Singgah Mata can cause sudden flash floods. Although the forest scenery becomes greener and fresher, swimming activities are usually limited for safety reasons due to the very strong currents and the water becoming murky.
