Visitor awareness not to throw plastic waste into the sea is a primary focus of environmental campaigns in this area, given the beach's proximity to the city center.

Located only about 7-10 kilometers from the center of Pangkal Pinang City, the journey takes only about 15-20 minutes by private vehicle or online transportation.
