At the peak of the rainy season, the water flow can increase drastically, becoming very strong and brownish due to sediment carried from upstream. Additionally, the trekking path will become very slippery and dangerous for novice hikers. It is advisable to start the hike in the morning around 08:00 WITA to enjoy the fresh forest atmosphere and have enough time to return before dark.
