From Teminabuan, tourists must travel by land for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to Sawiat District using off-road vehicles (4WD) or trail bikes, as some road sections may still be unpaved and rocky.

Upon arrival at the nearest village, the journey continues on foot (soft trekking) through the forest for about 15-30 minutes. The path is quite challenging but has been managed by the local community, who provide bamboo handrails at several steep points. The fatigue from the journey will be fully rewarded the moment the roar of the water begins to be heard and a thin mist from the waterfall's spray touches the skin.

It is highly recommended to arrive at the location in the morning, around 08:00 to 10:00 WIT. During these hours, sunlight penetrates through the gaps in the large trees, creating a tyndall effect or god rays reflecting on the surface of the water and the waterfall's mist, creating an extraordinary magical atmosphere.
