During these periods, the sea tends to be very calm, the sky is clear, and the wind is not too strong, making it highly conducive for water activities and photography.

Conversely, from July to August, the Maluku region often experiences the east wind season, bringing higher waves and increased rainfall. However, for those seeking tranquility and wanting to avoid crowds, visiting outside of national holidays is highly recommended as the beach will feel like your own.

Conservation and Environmental Protection

Awareness of the importance of preserving the unique fine sand of Ngurbloat has led the community of Ngilngof Village to implement strict customary and environmental regulations. This destination is managed through Community Based Tourism. The prohibition of large-scale sand extraction and rules regarding beach cleanliness are collectively enforced.

Conservation efforts also focus on protecting coral reefs from destructive fishing practices. Tourists are strictly forbidden from discarding plastic waste into the sea or stepping on corals while snorkeling. The success of Ngilngof Village in maintaining Ngurbloat's pristine condition has led the village to frequently win tourism village awards at the national level, proving that tourism can go hand in hand with nature preservation.

Accessibility and Facilities

Ngurbloat Beach is located on Kei Kecil Island. The main entrance to this area is through Tual City or Langgur. Tourists can fly to Karel Sadsuitubun Airport in Langgur. From the airport, the land journey to Ngurbloat Beach takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes via well-maintained asphalt roads, passing through villages and lush tropical forests.

Despite being in a remote eastern Indonesian region, the facilities at Ngurbloat are quite adequate for tourists. There are various accommodation options, ranging from traditional-style homestays managed by locals to more modern guesthouses along the coastline. There are also local eateries serving fresh seafood, young coconut water, as well as basic facilities like clean toilets and changing rooms.
