The most ideal time to visit Kebun Teh Tambi is during the dry season, between June and September. During this period, the sky is usually very clear, allowing the peak of Mount Sindoro to be clearly visible without being obstructed by thick fog. Furthermore, tea-picking activities are usually more intensive during these months.

It is recommended to arrive at the location at 05:30 AM Western Indonesian Time. Besides avoiding the dense fog that often descends after midday, visitors can witness the sunrise phenomenon emerging from behind the mountain ranges of Central Java. However, for lovers of melancholic atmospheres, the rainy season (October-March) offers a deeper green view of the tea fields and a calmer atmosphere with fog enveloping the area throughout the day.
