1. Tifa Dance and Traditional Songs: This cultural center regularly holds training sessions for the Tifa (a distinctive Papuan percussion instrument). The uniqueness of the Tifa in Keerom lies in the carvings of local flora and fauna motifs adorning its wooden body. Young people are taught how to play the Tifa with different rhythms for various purposes, whether it's to welcome guests, for inter-village peace ceremonies, or for harvest thanksgiving dances.

2. Tribal Legend Dance Drama: Another flagship program is the performance of dance dramas that highlight local folklore. Stories about the origin of the Keerom land and its harmonious relationship with the tropical forest are presented through captivating theatrical movements, often performed on the cultural center's open stage for tourists and locals to enjoy.

Pusat Budaya Suku Keerom manages workshops focused on authentic handicrafts. Here, senior artisans pass on their skills to the youth in creating:

• Keerom Noken: Unlike noken from the central mountain regions, noken from Keerom feature variations in wood fibers and natural dyes characteristic of the lowland forests. The cultural center encourages the use of Genemo bark fibers and weaving techniques unique to these border tribes.
• Wood Carvings and Traditional Attire: The creation of headdresses from Cendrawasih or Kasuari bird feathers (now replaced with synthetic materials or chicken feathers as a conservation measure) and the use of bark as material for traditional clothing are popular educational programs.
• Traditional House Architecture: The cultural center complex itself is built adopting elements of local traditional house architecture, using local materials such as bamboo, rattan, and palm leaf roofs, serving as an architectural laboratory for students and researchers.

Education Programs and Community Engagement

Pusat Budaya Suku Keerom does not operate exclusively but serves as a center for community empowerment. Several educational programs are implemented, including:

1. Customary School: Every weekend, the cultural center organizes mother tongue language classes. Given the numerous dialects in Keerom that are becoming endangered, this program is vital. Elders are invited as teachers to provide understanding of Keerom customary etiquette and social ethics.
