Additionally, in the dry season, the water surface tends to be calm, and the blue color of the water appears more intense.

However, the rainy season also offers its own charm. The full water discharge makes the reservoir look very majestic, and the surrounding hills turn lush green due to the thriving vegetation. The best time of day is dawn (subuh) to see the mist covering the water surface, or in the afternoon starting from 4:00 PM WIB to hunt for the sunset.

Conservation efforts are focused on controlling the number of Floating Net Cages (KJA) to maintain water quality and prevent pollution from fish feed residue.
